| Tiivistelmä: | Demand charts relate how much of given products will be bought by customers at various price levels. They can help a better assessment of new products and new technologies. Properties of these charts are summarized. The discrete points represent demand/supply equilibria. The stabilities of these equilibria are related to the given market situation. Examples are described from the fields of biotechnology, ceramics, batteries, engineering polymers, organic chemicals, radioisotopes, and structural metals. The elasticity parameters are summarized and compared. |
