| Tiivistelmä: | "Innovation" is still related almost automatically to "new products". But this is no longer sufficient in the struggle for competitive advantages. It is necessary to view the company itself , even its environment, as an object of entrepreneurial innovation effort. Practical experience and methodical approaches are now available for such extended philosophy. Examples of company-related innovation are presented: innovation of information systems, structural changes of the organization, intrapreneurship etc. Further examples are mentioned for innovations on the level of an industry: cooperation between two firms , mergers, joint business ventures, disinvestments, diversification. |
