Tiivistelmä: | Over the past decade organizations have made significant improvements in their performance appraisal systems. A survey was made identifying appraisal practices. In 92 p.c. of the organizations appraisals are made by the employees' immediate supervisor. In most cases, the supervisor has sole responsibility for the appraisal. Occasionally, the supervisor's appraisal is supplemented by evaluations made by his or her own superior. In almost all cases, employees are well informed about the results of their appraisals. They have opportunities to react on appraisal. |
