Tiivistelmä:Managers need more than codes of ethics; they need to ask themselves a few questions to make sure every decision is ethical. As far as ethical judgment is concerned, companies interested in the ethical instruction of managers must not rely only on general laws, but supplement their rules with a checklist of specific, easy-to-apply questions designed to provoke the type of thinking that usually guides an ethical act. In this checklist it is stated among others that the most common source of unethical acts is the temptation to think of oneself as special. Partiality is another delicate issue concerning the unfair distribution of advantages and disadvantages.
