| Tiivistelmä: | The actions taken to integrate the technical activity between the Celanese and Hoechsts Corporations are discussed. This activity is a result of the merger of the two companies. Many of these actions are not only relevant to integrating R and D research and development activities in merged companies but also to setting up an R and D cooperation or exchange between two separate corporations. In the beginning a steering committee on technology co-chaired by representatives of the American and the German corporations respectively, was established. Then, a number of task forces to work on the integration of their R and D activities, were set up. Mechanism have been established for the transfer of technology. |
