| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines how the concept of ecological sustainability may affect project appraisal for developing countries. The new issues raised by the sustainability criterion require a review of the applicability of project appraisal methods. Despite some methodological problems, multi-criteria analysis /MCA/ should be regardes as an appropriate alternative tool. |
