Tiivistelmä:This article examines what kind of impact organizational politics (hereafter as: org-pol.) and impression management (hereafter as: imp-man.) have on supervisor ratings of employee performance. Using data sample of 112 white-collar employees and their supervisors it is found that the interaction of org-pol. and imp-man. accounted for notable amount of variance in supervisor ratings of employee performance. The results show that in relatively non-political organizations imp-man. is used to obtain a competitive career advantage.
