| Tiivistelmä: | The degradation of ecological resources is a growing problem in the United States and other developed countries. In this case study natural resource damages in Department of Energy (DOE) lands were evaluated. The writers suggest that past site history about the use of land should be considered when evaluating the natural resource damages and planning the cleanup and restoration of environmental damages. This could reduce the cost of the natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) and hasten natural resource recovery. |
