| Tiivistelmä: | The article aims to analyse road transport usage in Lanzarote Island and its implications to for sustainable tourism development. The study is based on ecological footprint (EF) analysis. The results reveal that road transport ecological footprint will in future likely become a critical component in the Lanzarote island's total tourist EF. Tourist mobility in Lanzarote relies on immoderate private transport usage and this have quite large environmental effect. |
