| Tiivistelmä: | In 1982 ESA had IBM develop a suitable financial-management software package. This software was first implemented in 1984 under the acrony EFSY (ESA Financial System). With new requirements emerging, the EFSY has been upgraded. Given that ESA's three large programmes, Ariane-5, Hermes, and Columbus are getting fully underway, the annual number of financial transactions are expected to increase dramatically. |
