| Tiivistelmä: | The Olympus-1 satellite was launched in 1989. A Utilisation Programme has been set up to organize and promote the use of the satellite. The satellite has given capacity for communications and broadcasting in 3 important frequency bands together with beacon signals for propagation experiments. The first year of the Utilization Programme and its future development are described. |
