| Tiivistelmä: | The European Space Information System's (ESIS) Pilot Project started in November 1987. Its objective was to simplify the exploitation and application of scientific data stored in different electronic archives by scientists involved in space research. The ESIS Pilot Project addressed the needs of two disciplines: Astronomy and Space Physics. |
