| Tiivistelmä: | Olympus-1 communications spacecraft is to be launched next year. It will transmit stable radio-beacon signals covering first of all Europe. The project requires a close cooperation of different countries. Finally a large number of data on atmospheric radio- propagation effects will be collected which can be utilized to design an advanced satellite communications system in Europe. |
