| Tiivistelmä: | This study analyzes Russia's image projected by the Kremlin in Western countries during Vladimir Putin's presidency. An energetic public relations campaign was launched to Russia's image in the West because the the negative character of the image was recognized as one of the major security threats for the country. The core elements (here as: c-elmts.) of this 'constructed' image are explored. Also, it is examined how the c-elmts. are related to the self-images of Russia held by Russian political elites. |
