Tiivistelmä: | This article describes the use of portfolio models in understanding supplier relationships and develops a normative portfolio model to assist in managing different kinds of supplier relationships. It describes the use of portfolio models in strategic planning, and the use of portfolio models in marketing and purchasing. A portfolio for managing supplier relationships is proposed, and a set of propositions regarding the managing of supplier relationships is developed. Finally, suggestions for future research are discussed. |
