| Tiivistelmä: | This project report looks into recent research around the theory of the firm at the Danish Copenhagen Business School Center for Strategic Management and Globalization. The paper argues that from the beginning, the key persons at the Copenhagen Business School have emphasized that the theory of the firm is foundational in management research, and they have also shared an emphasis on strategic management and knowledge management based ideas on knowledge. The point is made that this combining of complementary ideas has steered the Center for Strategic Management and Globalization researchers' work throughout their research. Through the development of its scholars also the Copenhagen Business School work environment has developed into an international research culture promoting bottom-up processes of local entrepreneurial initiative. |
