Tiivistelmä:The purpose of this research was to provide a comprehensive investigation of how human resource management (HRM) has been affected by the Internet and technology within the key processes of acquiring, rewarding, developing, protecting, and retaining an organization's human resources. The data was collected in two ways. First, the authors examined a wide variety of articles and books from academia and the popular press and identified the major ways that the Internet and technology have affected HR. Second, the authors conducted in-depth interviews with 12 HR executives to technology. From these interviews and the archival data, the authors identified and analyzed key trends within each of five key HR processes that demonstrate the shift from traditional HR to e-HR activities.
