| Tiivistelmä: | This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of China's present exchange rate regime and exchange rate policy from two angles, i.e., the trends of choice of exchange rate regimes of various countries in the world and the adaptability of the present exchange rate regime to China's actual situation. After making a comparison between different exchange rate regimes, it raises suggestions on China's option in exchange rate regime and exchange rate policy and on that basis also approaches the issue of coordination between China's exchange rate policy and other economic policies. It thinks that China's present regime and policy adapt to its actual situation, but some adjustment should be made in the settlement and sales of foreign exchange system and the mechanism of foreign exchange formation. |
