Tiivistelmä:Legislation can make companies respect their workers' rights and refrain from vicitimising them. Given the scale of disregard for workers' rights around the globe and the absence of a global legislature, should the US step in to protect workforces globally? Action must be taken and the only seeming official body able to achieve this end is US government. USA has already taken steps in the right direction to achieve progress. Unfortunately, only trial and error and the will to spread democracy and improve workers' rights will serve to develop the appropriate solutions.
