| Tiivistelmä: | Based on a sample of firms from 37 countries that are cross-listed (hereafter as: c-lstd.) in the USA, a positive association is found btw. cross-listing (as: c-l-g.) and subsequent externally financed firm growth (as: f-g.) rates. However, there is no evidence found that increases in externally financed f-g. after c-l-g. would vary systematically as a function of the home-country attributes of the c-lstd. firms. Overall, the results provide new and direct evidence on the impact of c-l-g. on the f-g. rates. |
