Tiivistelmä: | In this study, two important areas of management research are empirically related: i. the full-range theory of leadership (hereafter as: l-ship.) and ii. the organizational learning process (here as: o-l-p). Particularly, three issues are addressed: 1. the impact of a) transformational (as: trfmt-al.) l-ship., 2. and of b) transactional (as: trns-al.) l-ship. on the o-l-p., and 3. whether the influence of trfmt-al. l-ship. is stronger than of trns-al. type of l-ship. It is found that trfmt-al. l-ship. has a strong impact on all four constructs of o-l-p. A direct impact is evident only as to information acquisition and behavioural and cognitive changes. |
