| Tiivistelmä: | CASE STUDY:A modelling framework is outlined for assessing the implication of fisheries policy decisions.An approach to model building is illustrated. It begins with establishment of a matrix reflecting the basic features of the fischeries sector and then goes on to incorporate these into an integer programming model. the model estimates the real cost of alternative policies. the model has been a useful tool in choosing policy options for Kuwait*s fisheries sector. |
