Tiivistelmä: | Positive, dramatic change is never easy. However, it can be successful almost immediately when people have courage, creativity and pride. The people at Dana Computer Services of Dana Corporation implemented self-directed work teams to benefit their customers, their company and themselves. Among the items discussed are why the company turned the organization chart upside down to reflect the importance of the customer and customer service; how a two-week "empowerment process' was used to encourage self-discovery, self-expression, leadership, vision and responsibility for action among team members; and how managers dealt with the changes. |
