| Tiivistelmä: | The last decade has been a testing one for Kuwait, with financial and military crises. The atmosphere in Kuwait is positive, Kuwaitis are beginning to enjoy their prosperity again and the stock market is reaching record highs. Almost seven years after the Iraqi invasion in August 1990 Kuwait is back on track with few visible signs of the devastating damage wrought. The recovery by any standards has been remarkably successful with the challenges ahead representing mainly the core structural problems that had dogged the economy before the invasion. |
