| Tiivistelmä: | The stock market crash in mid-october 1987 justifies the need for an analysis of long term stock price movements. The reasons are manifold:the increasing integration of financial markets, the large portion of foreign investors, and the high efficiency transactions can each play a role. This paper also tries to give an empirical study of the factors of stock price movements in the past. |
