| Tiivistelmä: | Integration has according to economics of foreign trade positive welfare effect. But there are not only winners (export industries), but losers too (domestic industries). These latter always try to bloc liberalisation and integration measures, and in Switzerland, with its direct democracy (frequent referendums) they have very good chances at least to slow down processes. This circumstance has to be taken into account when devising the integration strategy of the country. |
