| Tiivistelmä: | The role of the Maastricht resolutions on the regional economic policy in the Single Market of EEC is highlighted. A significant extension of instruments and measures applicable in the advancement of regional development is shown to be necessary. The results of the regional policy reform of 1988 are investigated. Their macroeconomic impact is assessed and some future developments are predicted. Different preferences are analyzed. Procedural and accountingmodifications are suggested. |
