| Tiivistelmä: | This article aims to suggest a formal and coherent procedure for grossing monthly data, which gives indications of short-term movements in output in the UK, up to represent the whole of GDP. The writers test the efficacy of the method for estimation of the state of economic activity and find that the outcome is rather satisfactory. |
