| Tiivistelmä: | A nonprocedural modeling language is introduced in which the practitioner describes a linear programming matrix with a set of two dimensional tables, a table representing the block schematics of the matrix and supporting data tables. A computer program processes these tables to produce a linear programming matrix ready for optimization. A blockwise model formulation is described, the relationship of the data to the model is discussed, an overview of its matrix generation language and some experience with a prototype system are given. |
