| Tiivistelmä: | The paper is organized around what may be regarded as a detailed non-traditional account of a practitioner's work in a traditional area of operational research, linear programming, to demonstrate how process-related issues are handled there. It is argued that there is much of methodological import for the discipline to be learned from more extensively observing the craft of such conventional practice of traditional operational research, and how content and process management activities are intervowen by an experienced operational research worker. In particular, it is important for the well-being of the subject that this knowledge is recorded. |
