| Tiivistelmä: | Tax policies and offset policies are intensively discussed as market-conform instruments of environmental politics. Under the condition of constant marginal costs of emission reduction - e.g. viewed at flue gas desulphurization technologies - the theoretical economical and ecological advantages of tax policies fall off. However offset policies are not tangled with this problem. Therefore this instrument leaves space for flexible management decisions and mostly provides economical efficiency as well as ecological effectivity. |
