| Tiivistelmä: | A new goods transportation center has to be established in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. Location analysis was based on several criteria: potential volume of goods to transport at four preselected locations, their acceptance and support by local residents, effect on the regional economy. Selection was based on benefit analysis and Rostock became the winner. The center will influence investment into infrastrure in Rostock and area as well as the total flow of goods transported through Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. |
