| Tiivistelmä: | Transaction cost economics (TCE) has been used to understand and predict the outcomes of make-or-buy decisions (hereafter as: m-or-b-decs). This paper aims at examining the effects of variables associated with TCE and compensation systems on the outcomes of m-or-b-decs. to compare the predictive ability of these variables. It is found that functional group reward systems are associated with the outcomes of m-or-b-decs. However, no support is found for the association btw. the TCE variables and decision outcomes. |
