Tiivistelmä:Bullying is not just morally and ethically reprehensible. It can have serious repercussions on the effectiveness of any organization in which it is found. Organizations ignore it at their peril. Bullying is not just a phenomenon of the school playground; it is alive and well in the adult world and, unfortunately, exists all too often in the workplace. The author's awareness of this problem has been raised over the last few years through media coverage of high profile, high pay-out, cases. Individuals from a wide spectrum of organisations have taken their employers to court to sue for damages as a result of psychological injuries suffered through workplace bullying.
