| Tiivistelmä: | The paper presents and applies a method for measuring workers' marginal willingness to pay for job attributes based on data on job search activity, and then derives worker's willingness to pay for the remaining duration of the employment contract. Evidence that substantial value is attached to the remaining contract duration is found in the study. The findings suggest also that a temporary worker with remaining contract of six months is willing to pay about 10% of the monthly wage to increase the contract by one month. |
