| Tiivistelmä: | Signs of weakness have appeared in all major regions in 1995, and growth of real output in the OECD area is estimated to have been just under 2,5%. Underlying conditions remain generally favorable: interest rates have declined in most countries, while inflation is low nearly everywhere, key exchange rates have been brought closer into line with fundamentals, and world trade is strong. Macroeconomic policies will have to be geared to ensuring that the non-inflationary expansion of output and employment is maintained durably beyond the projection period. |
