| Tiivistelmä: | Roy Harrod gathered the analytical components of his dynamic model of the trade cycle between Fall 1934 and summer 1935. While reading a draft of what eventually became the first part of Gottfried Haberler's League of Nations research on Prosperity and Depression (Haberler, 1934), he learned of the possible application of the accelerator to the trade cycle, after having been deceived for years by Pigou's rejection of its usefulness for that scope. Harrod's 1934 correspondence with Kahn shows that up to the end of that year Harrod was not aware of the direction Keynes's thought was taking. |
