| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the role of sports organizations in civil society. Especially social networks between sports and other civil society actors are reviewed using the variables of position, centrality and potential influence. As a data set, Norwegian surveys from the years 1982, 1990, and 2003 are used. It is found that sport organizations are relatively weak positioned actors in civil society despite their large size. |
