| Tiivistelmä: | Despite modest increases in demand in 1995 and 1997 the retail market witnessed a reduction in consumption over the review period. Retail volume sales of spirits stood at 108.4 ml litres in 1998, down 1.2% on 1994. The survey market was worth Ptas199,841.4 ml by 1998, up 33.9% on 1994. The most important sector was whisky which took a 41.3% and 52.0% share of total volume and value sales respectively in 1998. |
