| Tiivistelmä: | Here is presented the development of Bangladesh Flood Action Plan, and analyzed various factors intertwined with the issue at hand, such as flood control versus flood management, importance of public participation, the need for a permanent solution to water sharing problems with the neighboring India, and the bigger picture of poverty alleviation. This is a concrete example of sustainable development in one developing country. |
