| Tiivistelmä: | Legal procedures always imply linguistic means. Lawyers win time through fictions. The author examines the ideas about reality used in court. The underlying conceptions of signs and of law are also clarified. Finally the principle of impartiality is shown not to be tied to primary reality. |
