| Tiivistelmä: | The authors state that soon some CPA clients may need help with a bankruptcy and the subjects of the article are bankruptcy, liquidation, accounting as a customer service and accounting firms. In this article the authors present recommendations on what accounting firms should consider when preparing to assist clients with restructuring or liquidation situations. The paper also considers the ways an accounting firm can add a bankruptcy niche and the use of tax expertise as a way into the bankruptcy business and pays a great attention to the types of potential clients for accounting services.
