| Tiivistelmä: | In recent years, foreign businessmen's purchasing state- owned enterprises and holding a controlling stock has become a new trend in foreign investment in China. Various kinds of foreign investments have played an active role in the economic development in China. But foreign businessmen's purchasing state-owned enterprises have exerted some negative influence. For instance, the enterprises purchased by foreign businessmen are mainly the medium-sided backbone ones with better economic returns and some of the purchased enterprises are listed on stock market abroad. Some brand- name products of domestic enterprises before joint ventures were established have been replaced by foreign brandname products. The above should arouse the attention of China's authorities concerned. |
