| Tiivistelmä: | In recent two years, foreign trade enterprises have fallen into unprecedented dire straits and one or two enterprises have even declared bankrupt. This paper analyses the factors restricting the development of state-owned foreign trade enterprises from two aspect--domestic and international economic environment, and points out the orientation of future development of foreign trade enterprises. It thinks that only a few large-sized foreign trade enterprises are fit for embarking on the road of "general trading company". For most of enterprises, it is suitable for them to be merged into industrial groups or develop into commercial foreign trade agent corporations. |
