| Tiivistelmä: | German subsidisation policy is briefly outlined and the tables of subsidisation in East Germany are presented in the article. The authors describe high sectoral concentration of subsidies in West Germany and claim that cuts in subsidies are still on the agenda. They conclude that little has been achieved in restructuring subsidisation and show that support for economic restructuring in the new federal states has rapidly assumed an important role in the overall subsidisation budget. The figures for the growth of financial support are given. |
