| Tiivistelmä: | Companies often have ambivalent attitudes toward whistleblowers. Playing ostrich won't help if someone "blows a whistle" on your company. To protect your company's public image and create a fair and ethical workplace, management should create and actively implement a written policy regarding whistleblowing. The policy must reflect the real commitment of your organization to prevent retaliation against employee whistleblowers, and create an overall environment within which employees have the opportunity and desire to behave ethically and responsibly. |
