| Tiivistelmä: | "League tables," or ranking of countries in terms of GDP per capita, have proliferated in recent years. They have been cited as evidence of the relative success or decline of nations and also as predictors of future economic growth. The most authoritative of these rankings come from the United Nations International Comparison Project (henceforth ICP) which uses detailed price data from some 60 countries to provide comparisons based on purchasing- power parity. |
