| Tiivistelmä: | When 141 Industrial Research Institute member companies responded to 1992's annual forecast of R&D trends, the prognosis was for the recession in industrial R&D to linger another year. Nearly one third of the companies had expected to cut their capital spending for R&D. This prognosis appears to have been right on the mark. Forty of the firms that responded for the second year in a row to the IRI's annual R&D survey, mailed in March 1994, reported that business was worse during fiscal 1993. |
