| Tiivistelmä: | Petri nets are a graphical modelling tool very well suited for the description of distributed and concurrent systems which exhibit synchronization and contention for shared resources. This paper investigates the different policies and concepts in the traffic management of AGV systems, and develops the controls for automatically eliminating vehicle conflicts in an AGV system. The planning of the AGV system is performed in such a way that there are no conflicts or deadlocks for the AGV system for the vehicles using stochastic Petri nets. |
