| Tiivistelmä: | The ten major regions and countries which invested in China in 1994 were Hongkong, Macao, Taiwan, America, Japan, Singapore, ROK, the UK., Germany, Thailand and Canada. The amount of funds actually put into use was USD 33.787 billion, up 22.8% over 1994, centering on electronics, machine-building, Chemical and textile industries. By the end of 1994, there were more than 100 transnational corporations which came to invest in China, with the tax revenue of 36.48 yuan RMB. So we should continuously improve the investment environment and the industrial structure of foreign investment, attract transnational corporations' investment and at the same time promote the utilization of foreign investment in the central and western areas of China. |
